Fees & Pricing Structure
Transparent, value-based pricing for professional arboricultural services
Our Approach to Pricing
Fair and transparent fee structure
At Sydney Arborist Solutions, we believe in providing transparent pricing that reflects the high-quality professional services we deliver. Our fees are structured to provide excellent value while ensuring that every assessment, report and consultation meets the highest standards of arboricultural practice.
We understand that each project has unique requirements, and we tailor our services accordingly. Our pricing is based on several factors including the complexity of the assessment, number of trees involved, report type, location, and specific project requirements.

Factors That Influence Our Pricing
Understanding what determines the cost of our services
Assessment Complexity
The complexity of the assessment required directly impacts pricing. Basic visual assessments are more affordable than comprehensive assessments requiring advanced diagnostic tools and testing methodologies.
Number of Trees
The quantity of trees requiring assessment is a primary factor in determining cost. We offer competitive rates for multiple tree assessments on the same site compared to individual tree assessments.
Report Type
Different reports require varying levels of detail and expertise. Tree risk assessments, development impact assessments, and expert witness reports each have different pricing structures based on their complexity and purpose.
Location & Access
Site location and accessibility can impact pricing due to travel time and logistical considerations. While we service all of Sydney, more distant or difficult-to-access locations may involve additional travel costs.
Turnaround Time
Our standard service provides reports within 7-10 business days. Express services with faster turnaround times are available for urgent needs at premium rates. Emergency assessments can be arranged at short notice.
Specialised Services
Advanced diagnostic techniques like sonic tomography, resistograph testing, or specialised assessments for heritage trees involve additional equipment and expertise that affect pricing.
Types of Arboricultural Reports
Professional documentation with approximate price ranges
Council Application Reports
We prepare specialised reports addressing specific council requirements for tree removal, pruning, or development applications, tailored to local council tree preservation orders throughout Sydney. Our deep understanding of local regulations ensures applications have the best chance of approval while meeting all technical requirements.
$350 - $1,100+
Dependent on council requirements and report complexity
Development Impact Assessment
Our development impact assessments evaluate how proposed construction activities affect existing trees on site. These comprehensive reports comply with AS4970-2009 Protection of Trees on Development Sites and provide clear recommendations for tree protection or removal, helping ensure compliance with council requirements while optimising development outcomes.
$800 - $2,500+
Varies based on site size and number of trees
Preliminary Tree Assessment
Our preliminary assessments identify and classify trees on site to inform early design decisions for development projects. These reports help architects and planners work around significant trees, incorporate valuable specimens into designs, and develop appropriate strategies for tree management before detailed planning begins.
$400 - $1,200+
Varies with site size and tree quantity
Tree Risk Assessment
Using established methodologies such as QTRA (Quantified Tree Risk Assessment) and VALID, our arborists conduct thorough assessments to identify potential hazards posed by trees. These detailed reports provide risk ratings and practical mitigation strategies to ensure public safety while preserving valuable trees whenever possible.
$500 - $1,500+
Depends on number of trees and assessment complexity
Tree Protection Plans
Our detailed tree protection plans specify measures required during construction to preserve trees identified for retention. These plans include tree protection zones, specialised construction methodologies, and monitoring protocols that help developers meet their obligations while protecting valuable tree assets throughout the construction process.
$750 - $2,200+
Based on project size and complexity
Tree Management Plans
We develop comprehensive tree management plans that provide long-term guidance for tree care on private properties, commercial developments, and public spaces. These plans include detailed maintenance schedules, species-specific care recommendations, and strategic planning for tree succession to ensure ongoing canopy coverage and tree health across Sydney's diverse urban environments.
$850 - $2,800+
Based on site size, tree quantity, and management complexity
